Dobrynsky labradorite Extra Blue Ukraine slabs are made from the precious mineral mined at the Dobrynsky deposit. A distinctive feature of the rock is its fascinating appearance, which is made possible by mica-type inclusions on the black surface.

Labradorite is used in all areas, including the interior. It is suitable as worktops and countertops, reminiscent of black marble.

Advantages of the mineral:

• The shimmering and ‘night sky’ effect – when viewing the stone from different angles, the spectral effect is clearly visible, which is something that granite and marble cannot boast of;
• Hardness – the rock is characterised by a hardness in the range of 6 – 6.5 points on the Mohs scale. In other words, products made of this material are able to withstand any physical load and not lose their original appearance for several decades, but granite and marble are more resistant.

Labradorite is formed in the same place where granite is mined, but it is more expensive, which is justified by its unique appearance.
