Korninsky granite Leopard

Description

Korninsky granite Leopard slabs is a natural decorative stone quarried in the Zhytomyr region, city of Zhytomyr. Kornin. It is used for external and internal work. It was given the trade name “Leopard” because the pattern on the stone resembles the animal’s fur. Small inclusions of feldspar are added to the mineral composition of granite. Therefore, it sparkles brightly in the sunlight and has a very attractive appearance.

Its features:

• The background of the granite is shades of gray with transparent, pink inclusions;
• the structure is coarse, well amenable to heat treatment and polishing;
• durable and hardy, easy to care for material;
• is not afraid of temperature changes;
• does not absorb moisture;
• inert – does not interact with chemicals and natural pigments;
• service life – decades.

Leopard is used for paving paths, steps, tombstones, and small architectural forms. This natural stone is quite light in weight compared to other igneous rocks, so granite is often used in construction and for facade decoration.
