Description
Golovinsky Labradorite Kometa Black slabs are made of semi-precious stone mined at the Golovinsky spring in Ukraine. This rock is suitable for most construction tasks, such as finishing and coating. However, the most common area of application of the material is the creation of worktops, in particular, countertops.
The rock is characterised by a black colour with a heterogeneous texture, which creates a shimmering effect. In simple terms, when the light hits the surface of the stone, an ever-changing palette of shades appears, somewhat reminiscent of the night sky. Neither artificial marble nor any other mineral has this feature.
durability – from 30 years, depending on the frequency and quality of care;
Labradorite is more expensive than native granite and marble. Nevertheless, it is popular among customers who want to furnish their interiors in a stylish way, while keeping costs relatively low.
