Onyx Hierapolis
Description
Onyx Hierapolis slabs are made of natural stone mined in Turkey in the city of Pamukkale. The rock has an incredibly beautiful appearance, which looks like a storm of grey-blue and yellow-brown shades. It is famous for its good light transmission, which is why it is often used for illuminated structures. The most common products made of this stone are bar counters, decorative elements, furniture, countertops and other work surfaces. In some cases, onyx stone is used for interior decoration, for example, as a floor covering.
Onyx stone features:
- Type of surface treatment – polishing;
- Colour – brownish-grey;
- Country – Turkey;
- Type – natural.
Onyx stone slabs are more demanding to care for than products made of marble and granite, while this material is relatively fragile and does not tolerate rough mechanical impact. However, the rock is resistant to temperature extremes and can last for many decades, depending on the quality and frequency of surface cleaning. Information on how to clean onyx stone can be found in the public domain in a few minutes.
